The Home page is the front door of Phuket Helping Hands — a free community platform for Myanmar people living and working in Phuket, Thailand. It gives you an instant overview of everything the platform offers: job listings, Facebook community groups, and free CV writing help.
At the top of the homepage you see live stats showing the current number of active jobs, community groups, and registered members. Below that are three service cards — Community Groups, Find Jobs, and CV Help — each linking directly to the relevant section of the site.
A "How It Works" section explains the platform in three simple steps: Register (create your free account), Post or Share (contribute jobs, groups, or CV help), and Find & Connect (discover opportunities and connect with the community). The page also shows recent job and group listings so you can see community activity at a glance, and a section of Trusted Contributor profile pictures.
The Jobs page lists all approved job postings submitted by contributors and employers in Phuket. Jobs are sorted with Featured listings first, then by newest posted date. A sticky search bar at the top lets you filter jobs in real time by typing any keyword — job title, company name, location, or Burmese description text.
Each job card shows the job title in English and Burmese, the company name, location, salary, and the date posted. Featured jobs are highlighted with an orange background and a star badge. Click any card to open the full Job Detail page.
If you are a logged-in contributor, a "+ Post a Job" button appears in the search bar area so you can add a new listing directly from this page.
The Job Detail page shows everything about a single job posting. You will see the full job description in Burmese, the company name and location in both English and Burmese, salary information, and any images the poster uploaded.
The Contact section shows the phone number, Line ID, and/or Facebook link provided by the contributor. You contact the employer directly using this information — there is no in-app application system. Always verify job details before applying.
A Comments section at the bottom lets any logged-in user ask questions or discuss the posting publicly. The contributor who posted the job is credited at the bottom, including a green Trusted badge if they are a verified community member.
The Groups page is a directory of Facebook groups useful for Myanmar people in Phuket. Groups are categorised as Jobs, Community, or General. Filter chips at the top let you show only a specific category, and a search bar lets you find groups by name or description keyword.
Each group card shows the group icon, category badge, group name, description, and member count (if provided). If the contributor uploaded photos they appear as thumbnails — click to open a full-screen lightbox viewer. Featured groups appear first with a star badge.
Click "Join Group" to open the Facebook group in a new browser tab. The small chat-bubble icon opens the Group Detail page scrolled to the comments section for on-site discussion.
The Group Detail page shows the full information for a single Facebook community group. You can read the Burmese description, see all uploaded images in a lightbox gallery, and follow the Facebook link to join the group.
The contributor who posted the group is shown at the bottom with a Trusted badge if applicable. Clicking their name opens their Public Profile.
A comments section lets logged-in users discuss or ask questions about the group on the site itself.
The CV Help page connects people who need a CV with volunteer writers who can create one for free. It is divided into two parts: a list of open CV requests, and a list of available volunteer helpers.
Each request card shows the requester's name, submission date, and a coloured status badge — Open (green, waiting for a helper), Claimed (yellow, a helper is working on it), or Completed (blue, CV delivered). Click "View Details" on any request card to see the full information and claim the request if you want to help.
To request help for your own CV, click "+ Submit CV Request" and fill in the four-step wizard. To volunteer as a helper, click "+ Offer Help" to add your name and contact details to the helpers list.
The CV Request Detail page is accessible only to logged-in users. It shows the requester's complete personal information: full name, date of birth, phone number, work history (up to 3 jobs), education (up to 2 institutions), a photo if uploaded, and any notes they wrote for the helper.
If the request status is Open, any logged-in user who did not submit the request can click "Claim this Request" to take responsibility for writing the CV. The helper then has 7 days to upload the finished CV file (PDF or image). If the 7-day deadline passes without a delivery, the system automatically releases the claim so another volunteer can pick it up.
Once the helper uploads the CV file, the status changes to Completed and the requester receives a notification. The requester can then download the CV from this page. A comments section allows the requester and helper to communicate throughout the process.
Creating an account is free and gives you full access to Phuket Helping Hands. You need an account to post jobs, post groups, submit a CV request, claim a CV request, and leave comments.
The registration form asks for a Display Name (shown publicly), an Email Address (used as your login username), and a Password. After registering you receive a unique PHH-XXXX Contributor ID (for example PHH-0001). This ID appears on your public profile and lets others identify you on the platform.
You are immediately able to use all contributor features after registering — no approval process is required.
Log in with the email address and password you used when registering. After a successful login you are sent to your Dashboard, or to the page you were trying to visit before being asked to log in.
Once logged in, your Display Name appears in the top-right of the navigation bar. Clicking it opens your Dashboard. The bell icon shows your unread notification count and links to your Notifications page.
To log out, click "Logout" in the navigation bar.
Every contributor has a Public Profile page that anyone — even visitors who are not logged in — can view. It displays the contributor's avatar, display name, PHH ID, bio, and contact details (phone, Line, Facebook) if they have filled them in.
A green Trusted badge appears if the contributor has been verified by a moderator as a trustworthy community member.
The bottom of the profile lists all the contributor's approved and active job and group submissions, giving you an easy way to see everything they have contributed to the platform.
The Dashboard is your personal control centre on Phuket Helping Hands. It is only accessible when you are logged in.
At the top you see a notification preview showing the two most recent alerts, with a badge indicating how many are unread. Quick-action buttons let you immediately Post a Job, Post a Group, Submit a CV Request, or Edit your Profile.
Below the quick actions, your submitted jobs are listed with their current moderation status — Approved (green), Pending (yellow, awaiting moderator review), or Rejected (red). Each job has Edit and Delete buttons. Your submitted groups appear in the same format below the jobs list.
The Notifications page lists all your alerts in reverse chronological order. Unread notifications have an orange dot and darker text; read ones are greyed out.
You receive notifications when: your submitted job or group is approved or rejected by a moderator; someone claims your CV request; your CV is completed and ready to download; or there is activity on a CV request you are helping with.
Click any notification to be taken directly to the relevant page (job detail, group detail, or CV request). The notification is automatically marked as read when you click it. Use the "Mark all as read" button at the top to clear all unread indicators at once.
The Job Submission form lets contributors post job listings that appear on the public Jobs page after moderator approval.
Fields to fill in: Job Title (English), Job Title (Burmese), Company Name (English), Company Name (Burmese), Location (English), Location (Burmese), Salary (English), Salary (Burmese), a Burmese description, Contact Phone, Line ID, Facebook URL, and up to 5 images.
The AI button calls Google Gemini to automatically generate the Burmese fields from the English job title and company name. You can edit the generated text before submitting. After submitting, the listing enters Pending status until a moderator approves it. You can edit or delete your own submissions at any time from your Dashboard.
The Group Submission form lets contributors add Facebook group listings to the Groups directory.
Fill in: the Group Name, Category (Jobs, Community, or General), the Facebook Group URL, a Burmese description, and up to 3 photos.
The AI button generates a Burmese description automatically from the group name. After submitting, the group enters Pending status until a moderator approves it.
The CV Request Wizard is a four-step form for people who want a volunteer to write their CV.
Step 1 – Personal Information: Full name, nickname, date of birth, gender, nationality, phone number, email, and address.
Step 2 – Work History: Up to three previous jobs, each with position, company, employment period, and responsibilities.
Step 3 – Education: Up to two schools or universities, each with institution name, degree/qualification, field of study, and graduation year.
Step 4 – Photo and Additional Details: An optional profile photo, languages spoken, skills, career objective, and a notes field for any special instructions to the helper. Your progress is automatically saved, so you can leave and return without losing data. After submitting, your request appears on the CV Help page with Open status.
The Edit Profile page lets you update the information that appears on your Public Profile.
You can change: your Display Name, a short Bio, your Phone number, Line ID, Facebook URL, and your avatar photo.
Changes take effect immediately. Keeping your profile up to date helps other community members contact you and builds trust, especially if you are actively posting jobs, groups, or helping with CVs.
